A letter to Republicans in Congress.

Dear Senator,
First it was Health Care reform, now it's regulating Wall Street. Don't you people in the GOP get tired of walking in negative lockstep, marching to the tune of 'No Way Jose', blindly forming a phalanx of resistance to any original ideas that might make American lives a bit easier, at a time when easier sounds like relief to the average American? I'm old enough to remember a Republican Party that was filled with common sense centrists, whose goal seemed to be bettering the lives of their constituents. You've evolved from the Grand Old Party to the Tea Party, with its incumbent lunatic fringe. From the Party of Linclon to the Party of Limbaugh. You are distancing yourselves from the American Center, where average Americans think and live their lives. Unless Republicans in Congress are told how to think, and what to do by Mitch McConnell and John Boehner, they seem helpless to make decisions on their own. This is behavior that's not only harmful to America, it's harmful to the integrity and future of your own political party.
My suggestion would be to begin thinking as individuals again. Attacking each issue on its own merit, and voting according to your philosophy and conscience - as individuals. As long as being re-elected is your prime concern, that very re-election is jeopardized by your behavior. Americans are just not that stupid.
So, what do you say Senator, are you ready to break with the log jam of lubricious lemmings that currently poses as the leadership of the Republican Party? After all, it's in your best interest, and in the best interest of your country.
Respectfully,
Shaun Costello
